We created D2D Labs as a fully custom project operations platform for agencies , studios, freelancers, and product teams that need more flexibility than traditional task trackers can offer. Instead of building yet another Jira-like board, we designed a unified system that combines task management, client communication, AI assistance, voice calls, documentation, reminders, and Telegram workflows in one workspace. ❗ WHAT PROBLEM WE SOLVE? The main product challenge was clear: most existing tools are fragmented. Teams manage tasks in one place, chat somewhere else, keep documents in separate tools, jump into Zoom for calls, and still lose time on reminders, follow-ups, and client communication. We wanted to replace that chaos with one fast and adaptable system that works the way modern teams actually operate. At the core of the platform, we built a flexible task system with Kanban, table, and document views, structured statuses, folders, subtasks, sprint planning, backlog management, deadlines, estimations, and global search with transliteration support. This makes the platform suitable both for structured agile delivery and for more fluid client-service workflows. 💬 SLACK + JIRA - HOW? A major part of the product is the communication layer . We implemented task-based chats, project-wide feeds, threaded replies, role-based moderation, real-time updates, bookmarks, and drag-and-drop media sharing. This helps keep the entire project conversation directly attached to the work itself instead of scattering context across messengers and email. ☎️ WEB.. BUT HOW ABOUT NOTIFICATIONS? One of the most distinctive parts of D2D Labs is its Telegram integration. Users can receive notifications , create tasks, change statuses, search tasks, send voice notes, and trigger reminders directly from Telegram. Voice messages can be transcribed and summarized by AI, turning Telegram into a lightweight remote control for project management. This makes the platform especially practical for founders, managers, and developers who need to stay connected without constantly sitting inside the web interface. ⭐ AI ASSISTANT - OUR ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE We also built an embedded AI assistant layer inside the platform. It can answer context-aware project questions, improve draft messages, generate task summaries, create daily focus plans, suggest sprint priorities, and process meeting recordings into structured notes. The goal was not to add AI as decoration, but to reduce management overhead and help teams move faster with less friction. To make collaboration even more seamless, we added built-in voice calls, background call handling, per-user volume control, device sync, rich-text documentation, specification workflows, reminders with calendar and timeline views, flexible permission settings, private tasks, and role-based visibility. Performance was also a major focus, with real-time updates, optimistic UI behavior, caching, reconnect handling, offline resilience, mobile support, and keyboard shortcuts. The result is not just a CRM or a task manager. D2D Labs is a customizable operating system for service and product teams - one that brings together execution, communication, AI, and workflow control into a single tool that can run in the cloud or be deployed on-premise for clients who need deeper control and custom workflows.
